Rev. Hila J. Esters

Hila J. Esters was born again on January 2, 1976 and was called to the ministry February, 2003.  She was ordained on October 18, 2005.

Hila joined her brother's gospel group, the Patrick Whyte Singers of San Diego, California in 1979.  She sang with Patrick's group for several years while serving as Minister of Music at Antioch Church of God In Christ and then at Christian Compssion Center, both of San Diego.  She was also a soloist on "The Compassion Hour" until 2006.

Hila is a singer, songwriter and playwright who has written and performed in several comedies and dramas over the years from Missouri and California to Texas for her church families and communities.  She has also written two Christian musical plays which include a collection of her original songs.

Her passion is to continually mature in the Kingdom of God by the Holy Spirit, knowing and experiencing the person of Jesus Christ more fully through the Word of God.  She enjoys his presence through praise and worship, while entering into His glory.  She has been used all of her life by the Holy Spirit to 'freely receive and freely give' in His presence and in His service.
